Cape Town is the Events Capital of the World (World Travel Awards: 2018). The city boasts a variety of premier event locations; from the multi-functional Cape Town Stadium to the iconic Cape Town City Hall and Africa’s premier meetings and conferencing venue, the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The top eight events in Cape Town generate over R3 billion of economic activity each year. Each year the City of Cape Town budgets R50 million to support events.
